Primary Responsibilities -
- Perform various types of testing, including Regression, Integration, Functional, Systems, Sanity, Smoke, Installation, compatibility, Unit testing
- Design and execute SQL statements for database manipulation and querying
- Conduct verbal discussions with stakeholders, analyze programming source code and utilize any other methods necessary to find additional test conditions
- Prioritize test conditions to ensure that those having the highest impact on the system are tested first
- Review functional requirement documentation and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Create and modify written test procedures, test cases, test logs, and other test-related documentation using approved software tools
- Manually execute test procedures and cases.
- Learn and understand the technical details of all relevant products.
- Raise concerns regarding quality to management and team members
- Administer a log of software bugs found and ensure they are resolved by software engineers.
- Any other tasks required by management
Skills Required
- Software Testing: 2-3 years
- Must be good in QA Software Testing concepts (such as STLC, Defects Tracking) and Agile Methodology
- Proficient English verbal communication skills
- Experience in Test Planning, Test Designing, Testing Methodologies, and Testing Processes and Testing Techniques
- Should have worked on Functional, Database, web-based testing, and UI testing.
- Should have basic knowledge of SQL, Database
- Must have a knowledge of Docker and SaaS platform
- Experience with Jira, Agile, and TestRail
- Hands-on experience in writing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases after understanding requirements documents.
- Communicating testing progress, status, and issues to project stakeholders
- Responsible for the project(s) overall Quality.
- Familiarity with Agile as it relates to software testing is an asset
Education: Degree/PG in Computer Science or Engineering or Software Testing is an asset
